No Coverage Does Not Equal No Health Care!

At Doctors Care, we don’t want anything to keep you from getting the health care you need. If you lose your Medicaid coverage, for whatever reason, we are still here to help!

Here is what Doctors Care can do for you if you become uninsured:

  • Explore other health insurance options: Our certified health coverage guides can help provide education on what else may be available and help you apply for certain coverage if you are eligible. Find out more by visiting www.doctorscare.org/enroll (or click on the Health Insurance tab).

  • Offer discounted care: Doctors Care has a sliding fee scale based on your household size and total income, allowing you to pay for your appointments based on what you can afford. Uninsured patients are never turned away due to their inability to pay. You can learn more by visiting www.doctorscare.org/sliding-scale. In addition to discounted copays, Doctors Care partners with various companies to help provide you with lower prices on lab work.

  • Help navigate community resources to help pay for food, housing, prescriptions, and more: When you come in for a visit, you can speak to our Behavioral Health team who has extensive lists of resources to help you get the additional help you need. Your provider can also review your medications and help come up with a plan to make them more affordable. NEVER suddenly stop taking medications! Let us help you prioritize and work with your budget. Visit www.doctorscare.org/resources (or click on the Resources tab) to learn more.

We know losing coverage can feel overwhelming. Doctors Care will be here to help you through whatever challenges you experience! If you have concerns, please speak to your provider at your next appointment, or schedule one today by calling 303-730-1313. You can also schedule a free appointment with a health coverage guide by calling 720-458-6185.

Doctors Care welcomes patients age 0-50 and accepts uninsured, Medicaid, CHP+, Cigna, and Anthem.
