The recent passing of the federal budget bill threatens to cost Doctors Care and similar organizations thousands in Medicaid funds. Additionally, Doctors Care expects to see an increase in uninsured patients. Currently, 30% of Doctors Care’s patients are uninsured. That number could rise by 5-to-15% with cuts to Medicaid.
