Open Enrollment 2020 Is Here!

Health insurance is available in Colorado through multiple options: employer provided coverage, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Connect for Health Colorado, Medicaid (Health First Colorado), and Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+).

For individuals who do not have employer provided coverage and are over income for Medicaid or CHP+, they must buy insurance during Open Enrollment . Open Enrollment for health insurance in 2020 begins November 1, 2019 and ends January 15, 2019 . To have insurance that starts on January 1, 2020 you must sign up by December 15 th . If you sign up after December 15 th , your insurance will start on February 1, 2020.

Funding will also support the provision of resources, connections, and education so that patients can build a foundation for a healthier future. In addition to providing comprehensive medical, behavioral, and dental health care, Doctors Care understands the importance of addressing the social determinants of health when treating south metro Denver’s most vulnerable populations. Heath education and resource navigation are vital components of its integrative approach to care and help individuals find a path towards long-term health and wellbeing.  “We are so grateful to the Douglas County Community Foundation for helping us continue providing high-quality care to individuals and families,” said Bebe Kleinman, CEO, Doctors Care.
